To help employers address this labour shortage, Business Chamber Queensland is proud to deliver Workforce Evolve, a free program funded in partnership with the Queensland Government and open to employers across the state. This program will equip business owners with the tools to build a diverse and inclusive workforce.
Through online modules and tailored business coaching, Workforce Evolve will transform your approach to attracting and retaining talent, both now and into the future.
Within our community, there are many motivated to work or work more but have historically been under-represented in the workforce.
These diverse groups include women with family or carer commitments or those escaping domestic violence, First Nations Peoples, the LGBTIQA+ community, those with disabilities, people from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds, and mature aged workers.
With some changes in approach and the use of inclusive employment practices, the Workforce Evolve program can assist employers in developing a recruitment strategy to unlock a new segment of job seekers from these under-represented groups and in doing so, enrich your organisation with the right skills and diverse contributions.
