ecoBiz is a free, award-winning sustainability program helping Queensland businesses to save costs, reduce carbon emissions and resource use, and manage climate change risks. Business Chamber Queensland has been running ecoBiz for over 10 years. Over that time, we’ve helped thousands of businesses to save costs and reduce their environmental impacts.

How does ecoBiz work?

ecoBiz provides free personalised coaching, training, tools, and resources to help you save costs and build a more sustainable business. Registration is free and takes just a few minutes. Once you’ve created your account, you’ll have access to the ecoBiz platform where you can book on-site coaching, read learning articles and access practical tools.

In financial year 2024/2025, ecoBiz helped businesses across Queensland avoid:

  • $1.9 million+ in costs
  • 10,244 tCO2e in carbon emissions or 3,000 passenger vehicles on roads for a year
  • 40,402 GJ in energy or 2,000+ average Qld households’ annual electricity use
  • 46,142 kL or 18 Olympic-sized swimming pools
