Containers for Change

Containers for Change is Queensland’s container refund program.

Queenslanders receive 10-cents for each eligible container returned for recycling and can choose to keep their refund or donate it to a local charity, school or community group. By taking part, Queensland’s residents are helping clean up the environment while contributing to a circular economy.

Containers for Change operates on a not-for-profit basis. It is focused on driving social enterprise, improving environmental outcomes and contributing to a sustainable future for Queensland.
