Business Chamber Queensland is here to help. Every single month, our Employer Assistance Helpline receives around 800 calls and emails from business owners and human resource managers just like you.

Employer Assistance Helpline

A team of expert advisors are just a phone call away. When you’re a member, our Employer Assistance Helpline is your direct line to a comprehensive range of free HR advice and services. We can talk you through concerns including employee counselling, redundancy, union activity, leave entitlements, and general workplace health and safety.As a member, , you qualify for free experienced and impartial advice on a range of issues including:

hiring staff on the right awards and with the right paperwork
paying employees correctly
calculating overtime, penalty rates, entitlements and leave
enterprise bargaining
protecting yourself with the right HR policies
industrial relations and union issues
downscaling your workforce
restructuring
responding to employee grievances and employee and industrial claims and,
much more

Helpline hours: 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am to 4.00pm Friday.

My HR Manager

HR Consulting Service

Our HR consulting work is an additional service that sits outside of Business Chamber Queensland membership benefits. Consultancy is available to members for a nominal hourly fee.
