International Workforce

Employing skilled migrants can help fill the gaps in your workforce so you can grow your business. It can seem time consuming and daunting, but when managed the right way hiring overseas talent can add real value to your business – and your local community.

If you’re looking for support to employ skilled migrants – from recruitment right through to resettlement – we can connect you with our specialist partner Workforce Abundance. And as a Regional Certifying Body, we can assist with your foreign work visa certification.

Regional Certifying Body

Business Chamber Queensland is a Regional Certifying Body (RCB) for Queensland.

As an RCB, we provide advice to the Department of Home Affairs on the Skilled Employer Sponsored Regional (Provisional) visa (subclass 494) (SESR visa) in the Employer Sponsored (ES) stream.

The RCB’s role is to use local area knowledge to advise on whether the nominee for the position will be paid at least the Annual Market Salary Rate (AMSR) for the occupation.

See here for RCB Advice checklist.
