HR Health Check: Compliance Assessment

Are your employment documents compliant?

The employment of staff, and compliance with the regulations surrounding this important business relationship can be complex and constantly changing. We know that it is one of the many considerations that business owners and operators must be across, making compliance even more difficult.

Court penalties for non-compliance can be significant for employers and individual directors.

Business Chamber Queensland’s HR Health Check is a compliance assessment that assists business owners and operators to understand their level of compliance with the main workplace relations considerations.

During the two-hour HR Health Check, an experienced Workplace Advisory Services team member will sit with you and work through the following compliance matters*:

  • The correct engagement of employees;
  • Industrial instrument conditions, such as Modern Awards;
  • General terms and conditions of employment;
  • Understanding casual conversion;
  • Induction processes;
  • Policies and procedures; and
  • Record keeping requirements.

By undertaking the HR Health Check: Compliance Assessment, you will be empowered with the information to understand what is required for your workplace, and the steps you need to take to ensure you meet compliance requirements.
