On 11 November, alongside TechnologyOne, we hosted The Honourable Sam O’Connor MP, Minister for Housing and Public Works and Minister for Youth for the launch of the 2026 Queensland Procurement Policy.
Queensland is experiencing never-before-seen growth with major events like the Olympic and Paralympic Games, the Men and Women’s Rugby World Cups and the government’s billion-dollar investments in energy, infrastructure, roads, transport, and everything in between.
This event was a valuable chance for businesses to hear first-hand how they can play a role in Queensland’s growth story and benefit from billions in annual government procurement spend.
The new procurement policy promises to deliver simpler processes, smarter data and better incentives, as well as provide more opportunities for Queensland businesses, particularly small and family businesses, social impact enterprises and veteran-owned businesses, to work with government to deliver the products, services, and projects that will contribute to our state’s bright future.
Thank you to the businesses from across Queensland who joined us for this event. We look forward to supporting you to capitalise on the opportunity ahead.
