Workforce Evolve and ecoBiz support Goondiwindi businesses

Local businesses in Goondiwindi recently came together for a morning of practical learning designed to help them strengthen their workplaces and reduce operational costs. The free sessions were delivered by Workforce Evolve and ecoBiz with the support of the Goondiwindi Chamber of Commerce.

The morning opened with a Workforce Evolve workshop on effective onboarding. Local businesses shared approaches for welcoming new employees, building early confidence and strengthening workplace culture. It was fantastic to see such an engaged group, with participants from a range of industries contributing ideas and discussing what effective onboarding looks like in different workplace settings.

This was followed by an ecoBiz Water, Waste and Energy workshop delivered by Sustainability Coach Andrew Chamberlin, who has more than 20 years’ experience delivering sustainability, planning and renewable energy projects across Queensland. Andrew shared practical insights on reducing energy, water and waste costs, with participants identifying simple actions they could start implementing straight away.

Together, the sessions offered practical tools, fresh ideas and valuable opportunities for local businesses to connect and learn from each other.

Workforce Evolve is proudly funded by the Queensland Government.

The ecoBiz program is proudly supported through the Queensland Government’s Recycling and Jobs Fund
