Workforce Evolve has reached a major milestone, with more than 1,000 Queensland businesses now registered for the free program. Delivered by Business Chamber Queensland and proudly supported and funded by the Queensland Government, Workforce Evolve is designed to help businesses attract, retain and support the workforce they need to thrive, enabling organisations across the state to build sustainable workplaces and grow with confidence.

Workforce Evolve is a free government-backed program supporting Queensland businesses to strengthen workplace practices, improve attraction and retention strategies, and build inclusive, thriving workplace cultures.
With expert coaching, practical tools and resources, Workforce Evolve helps businesses address workforce challenges and build a stronger foundation for future growth.
The numbers behind the milestone tell a story of real impact:
- 40,000+ Queenslanders are employed across the 1,000+ businesses now participating in Workforce Evolve
- More than 70% of participants report stronger workplace relations, attraction and retention practices
- 73% have improved their attraction strategies
- 80% report stronger workplace relations
- 60% are developing clearer pathways to strengthen their diversity and inclusion approach
Speaking at the event, Business Chamber Queensland CEO Heidi Cooper said: “Workforce Evolve is one of those shining lights that businesses can see. It supports them and meets businesses where they are at.”
Workforce Evolve Program Manager Louise Hauser highlighted the collective impact businesses are creating through the program, with organisations across Queensland strengthening workplace practices and investing in long-term workforce success.
