There are many different programs available for businesses in Queensland.

In this page, we have provided additional information on other free wellness programs available for Queensland businesses.

Note that the needs of Queensland businesses are diverse and engaging a local service provider may be the most beneficial option for your business community.

Ahead for Business

This program is a digital hub that supports mental health and wellbeing of businesses. Funded by the Australian Treasury, this hub provides tailored resources, peer support, check-ups and personalised action plan for business owners.

BeyondBlue NewAccess for Small Business owners

This program is a fully funded mental health coaching program, developed by BeyondBlue, specifically developed for Small Business Owners. Coaches in the program have small business background and require no doctor’s referral. This program is available nationally via phone or video call, from 8am to 8pm, Monday to Friday.

Customised wellness programs for your business

Other wellness programs are available from $150 per employee per year for businesses. Costs may vary by vendor, as well as the range of services available.

It is highly recommended that you reach out to your local providers to understand the support and resources that may be available for your community. Our research found that different communities may have different needs, and it is best to consult with a local specialist before choosing or recommending a wellness program to other businesses.

Wheel of Wellbeing Program:

Developed by Maudsley International, the Wheel of Wellbeing—or WoW—is a flexible framework that represents the six universal themes that contribute to mental health and wellbeing: body, mind, spirit, people, place and planet. Using positive psychology, WoW links each of the six themes to positive action to promote mental wellbeing.  This program is endorsed by the Queensland Mental Health Commission, through many regional hubs, including Logan and Southern Moreton Bay (SMBI), Central Queensland, North Queensland and Far North Queensland

 

The Orange Toolkit

The Oranges Toolkit builds mental and emotional agility through seriously

refreshing workplace wellbeing programs that equip employees to positively

adapt to complexity, change and adversity.

This is a paid program, which may be more suitable to businesses and organisations who are mature in their business journey. Some of their resources on the website is free, so think about how to use these for your purposes.
